THE FOGOLÂR CIVIC’S REFLECTIONS

IS FOR THIS IDEA OF LIBERTY THAT SEVENTY YEARS AGO THE PARTISANS FELL?

Liberty? We used the liberty for destroy our families, to the detriment not only of ourselves but first to the detriment of our children that we have, miserably, induced to make sense of our choices and our whim, even persuading them to become familiar with new partners arrived at our side and them offspring, in the goofy effort to normalize our sacred, or better, our democratically-legalize right to the selfishness , to their eyes. We originate in this way a devastating consequences on the emotional and educational distress, with a social repercussions of such magnitude that the institutions, honestly, cannot any longer declare manageable. Not enough. We use our freedom for destroy the public school, the last agency that can address common uplifting for our society, school subservient to private whim of parents, disguised as legitimate handling of a democratic participation rather, basically, paradoxically rejected to political and administrative level. We are free but so far we have failed both as fathers and as citizens. A reflection even more dutiful to those who, like the more than ten years old Alpine Adriatic Cultural-Civic Movement “Fogolâr Civic”, a small stronghold and laboratory of civic culture based in Friuli, historical crossroads between Latin and Slavic-German Europe, pursues, inter alia, the objective to sweep away such rhetoric, sometimes demagogical, sometimes emptily Institutional. Is maybe for this kind of Liberty that the partisans have fought, fell and won against the Nazi-fascist forces seventy years ago? For the Liberty of self-destruction through the exercise of freedom? Do not tread on their memory!
