The social commemorations of the 504th anniversary of the epic “Joibe Grasse” uprisings, 1511, Friulian Historical paradigm of insurrection against the injustice, were introduced on February 27th 2015 in Udine, from a public debate-meeting titled: “Against who and what we have to rise up in the modern Friuli?”. The meeting was organized by the Alpine Adriatic Civic Movement “Fogolâr Civic” in concert with the Club UNESCO of Udine. During the presentation of the local initiative named “Popular census of the contemporaries’ misdeeds for a new Friulian Constitution of the local and universal Values”. The Udine council member, Mr. Paolo Perozzo, has assumed the responsibility to bring the ballot box, shaped like the bell tower of the Udine’s castle, into the city council.
